Response to Intervention: Three-Tiered Model

  • At the foundation of the three-tiered model of Response to Intervention, there is a strong, research-based core curriculum that meets the needs of most students. For some students, more time or strategic instruction may be required in addition to this core curriculum. For a few students, they may need more time, or more intensity. The three-tiered model demonstrates the needs of students as they may require more time and intensity in order to improve their outcomes.
