Appropriate Behavior results from students taking responsibility for their actions. It is the intent of the Board of Education to emphasize strategiesthat cause the student to understand inappropriate behavior, acknowledge it, and make an attempt to alter it. Cooperation among parents, teachers, and administrators is essential. It is important that the student understand the reasons for disciplinary action. When necessary, a student may be temporarily removed from class.
For more specific behavior expectations, please see the individual school handbook section.
